Former England cricketer Graham Thorpe died after being struck by a train at a railway station in Surrey, the opening of an inquest into his death has heardGraham passed away at the age of 55 leaving behind his wife, Amanda, and his four children, Henry, Amelia, Kitty and Emma. She said: “Graham was renowned as someone who was very mentally strong on the field and he was in good physical health,” she said. A minute’s silence was held last week in Graham's honour at the Oval, where the former Surrey batter began and ended his 17-year first-class career, before a men’s Hundred match between Oval Invincibles and Southern Brave.
