Enchanting, Texas Star and Former 1017 Rapper, Dead at 26

Enchanting, the Texas rapper who signed to Gucci Mane's 1017 label in 2020 before leaving last year, has died at the age of 26.

“So sad to have to say R.I.P to such a great young lady a true star we gone all miss you Chant,” Gucci wrote in a social media post on Tuesday. Enchanting featured with Maiya the Don on “He Can’t Reach, collaborated with Omeretta the Great on the commanding track ““Want No Beef,” and “Run It Up,” with Atlanta rapper Kaliii. “Staying in the studio and constantly recording, it helps me find the style I can be good at,” Enchanting previously said in a statement posted to her website.
