Emotional moment Michelle Trachtenberg is honored at screening of her final film after shock Oscars snub

Michelle Trachtenberg's life and legacy was honored at a recent screening of her final film - just over two weeks after her tragic death at age 39.

Fans also singled out the Academy for leaving out late entertainers Tony Todd, Shannen Doherty, Martin Mull and Linda Lavin from the tribute to those in the industry who had passed away since last year's event. Trachtenberg gained fame in the 1996 Harriet the Spy film and later appeared n a pair of popular TV shows - Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Gossip Girl. The New York Police Department said in a statement that officers responding to an apartment building in the Hell´s Kitchen neighborhood of Manhattan found the actress 'unconscious and unresponsive' amid their response to a 911 call on February 26.
