Fred Sirieix was on hand to console his daughter Andrea after she narrowly missed out on a medal at the Paris Olympics as she spoke of her mental health struggles
Andrea hasn't shied away from discussing her battle with anxiety post-Tokyo 2021 Olympics, almost leading her to quit diving. Her father, Fred, couldn't hide his admiration for Andrea when speaking with the BBC, where he gushed over his 'little girl's' unwavering optimism: "What I love about my daughter is her positivity. Today she didn't make it to the podium, tonight (Tuesday) she is going to have a quiet night, and tomorrow (Wednesday) she is back to being happy, smiley Andrea.
