Coronation Street star Alex Bain has broken his silence in an emotional post as his time as cobbles favourite Simon Barlow comes to end after 16 years on the ITV soap
Coronation Street'sAlex Bain, who has played Simon Barlow since he was just seven years old, has shared an emotional update with his fans as his time on the ITV soap is "nearly over." The actor, who made his debut in 2008 and has been a staple on the cobbles ever since, took to Instagram to share a mirror selfie from his dressing room. Since the scary incident, Simon appeared to have learnt his lesson and has recently been back on the straight and narrow, but much like his mum Leanne, he has also found solace in a dangerous cult which offers him 'life advice' with a very hefty price tag!
