The first winners of the 76th Emmy Awards were revealed today as the Television Academy unveiled its honorees in the juried categories spanning animation, costume, innovation in emerging media programming and motion design. Other winners include Max’s Adventure Time and Taylor Mac’s 24-Decade History of Popular Music, Peacock’s In the Know and Disney+’s What If… and the documentary Jim Henson Idea Man from director Ron Howard. Both events will be held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, and an edited presentation will air Saturday, September 14, on FXX starting at 8 p.m. PT.
