Despite the ceremony moving to January due to Hollywood’s dual strikes last year, the Emmys still had to go up against the NFL for primetime eyeballs. The Eagles lost to the Buccaneers in the wild card round, which was surely a highly watched matchup — likely even more of a primetime competition than any game during the regular season would have been. Jeremy Allen White and Ebon Moss-Bachrach continued their awards-season rolls, as did Sarah Snook and Kieran Culkin.
