Emmy Rossum Set To EP, In Talks To Star In Liz Meriwether Thriller Drama Series Ordered By Hulu
Hulu has given a series order to a drama written by Liz Meriwether. Emmy Rossum is in talks to headline the project inspired by 1987 movie Black Widow.
In the Hulu series, an FBI agent — the role Rossum is poised to play — uses the secrets from a female serial killer’s past to try and find her. More recently, she headlined Peacock’s Angelyne, which she also executive produced through Composition 8 and played a lead opposite Tom Holland and Amanda Seyfried in Apple TV+’s The Crowded Room. Rossum, who executive produced the 2024 Starz series Three Women, recently signed with WME and is also repped by MGMT Entertainment and Felker Toczek Suddleson McGinnis Ryan.
