Emmy Predictions: Comedy Series – ‘The Bear’ Breaks Nom Record, Will It Break Its Own Record for Wins?
2024 Emmys comedy series predictions include "The Bear," "Abbott Elementary," "Hacks," "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "Only Murders in the Building."
Yet, amidst the dominance of recent Emmy sweepers like “Schitt’s Creek,” “The Crown,” “Succession,” and “Ted Lasso,” no show has returned to replicate such a remarkable feat. FX is also strategically positioning itself to reintroduce the former nominated “What We Do in the Shadows” into the conversation and aims for a long-deserved series mention for the final season of the critically acclaimed “Reservation Dogs.” Several new contenders have entered the fray this year, including Netflix’s “The Gentlemen” starring Theo James and Apple’s “Palm Royale” featuring Kristen Wiig, both of which could have pockets of support to get them into the lineup.
