The pair kicked off the evening at LA’s Peacock Theater with a playful jab about The Bear's controversial nomination as a comedy, instantly winning over the audience Eugene acknowledged that while he and Dan aren't comedians, their dynamic works well together, a bond formed on Schitt's Creek that continues to resonate, making them a good fit for hosting roles. The cast of Schitt's Creek included Eugene, Dan, Catherine O'Hara, and Annie Murphy, who delivered memorable performances throughout the series.
