Emmerdale star Roxy Shahidi has spoken out about her shock exit from the soap after her character Leyla Harding was killed off in the tragic limo accident
In an unexpected turn of events on this week's Emmerdale, viewers were left stunned as fan-favourite Leyla Harding, portrayed by actress Roxy Shahidi, met a tragic end in the horrifying limousine crash. The character, which Roxy has brought to life since 2008, and her colleague Suzy (played by Martelle Edinborough) both tragically passed away as a result of the accident. Charity Dingle, played by Emma Atkins, was at the wheel when the limo careered off into an icy lake, resulting in other villagers also being rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
