Speaking about his U-turn in career, he told The Brighton Magazine:"My dad taught me how to use a dark room when I was in my early teens and ever since then I have always had a camera to hand." "I suppose what needs to happen is Dave Glover's twin brother needs to come back and claim rights to Jamie (Tate)," he mused. In other chats, Ian has humorously likened himself to the 'Sean Bean of soaps', alluding to his knack for portraying characters that meet untimely fates.
