Emmerdale's Georgia Jay opens up on co-star's 'difficult' time on ITV soap
Emmerdale actress Georgia Jay, who plays Steph Fox in the ITV soap, has opened up about working with her co-star Nicholas Day, who plays her grandfather and paedophile Anthony Fox.
The actor, known for his role as Detective Sergeant Michael Morley in ITV's Minder, joined the Emmerdale cast last November, playing Ruby Fox-Miligan's ( Beth Cordingly) father. The dramatic storyline unfolded last week when Aaron Dingle ( Danny Miller), a survivor of child sex abuse, attacked Anthony after discovering his dark past. The villainous character is set to face a gruesome end while his biological daughter (and granddaughter) Steph goes on the hunt for answers on his disappearance (Image: ITV)As she digs deeper, she eventually discovers the disturbing reality in explosive scenes.
