Emmerdale star responds after iconic role recast for Zak Dingle funeral

Emmerdale newcomer and Brassic star Samantha Power has opened up on her new role as Tina Dingle, who was originally played by Jacqueline Pirie, three decades ago

Tina is the the daughter of Zak and Nellie Dingle and the sister of Cain, Sam and Belle, who has been part of a harrowing abuse storyline at the hands of Tom King. The role was previously portrayed by original star Jacqueline Pirie, making her last appearance 28 years ago. Tina Dingle was originally played by Jacqueline PirieSamantha fit right in on set, giving a special shout out to Lisa Riley.
