Emmerdale star lands major new role months after quitting ITV soap


Emmerdale's Jurell Carter has been confirmed to star in a major new role just months after his dramatic exit from the ITV show had confused fans scratching their heads

The actor, who played heartthrob Nate Robinson in the soap, is set to leave TV screens behind for a while and tread the boards, starring as Loggo in an exciting new stage version of the classic BBC series Boys from the Blackstuff. With a job offer in Shetland, Nate was all set to depart for a fresh start with wife Tracy Metcalfe and their little girl Frankie, following their emotional reunion.
