An ex-Emmerdale actress has hit out at bosses for how her character's departure was managed on the show.
Katherine Dow Blyton, who portrayed Harriet Finch for nearly a decade in the long-running soap opera, said she was stunned to discover bosses had given her character the boot. Harriet, who featured in the show from 2013 until 2022, first set foot in the village as a friendly vicar but was later turned into a crime-fighting cop.
