ITV Emmerdale actress Daisy Campbell has confirmed she is leaving the soap after 13 years playing Amelia Spencer, and she has opened up about the heartbreaking exit
Emmerdale' s Daisy Campbell is bidding farewell to the Dales after a whopping 13 years on the show, as TV bosses shockingly decide to write out her character. The actress opened up about learning of her exit back in May but only recently felt ready to go public because she needed time to "grieve", reports the Daily Star. "Obviously it was a shock at first but now I have had time to digest it all, I am really excited," and acknowledges, "Emmerdale has actually done me a favour because I would never have left if they hadn't decided there was no longer anywhere to take Amelia."
