Emmerdale fans say 'who knew' as they discover Chas Dingle star's forgotten pop career
Emmerdale actress Lucy Pargeter has played Chas Dingle on the popular ITV soap since 2002, but some fans have only just discovered that she had a successful pop career
The 47-year-old actress has been involved in numerous dramatic storylines over the years, including the recent tragic limo frozen lake crash that resulted in the death of three characters. She was part of the girl band, Paperdolls, which even supported Boyzone on tour and released the 1998 single Gonna Make You Blush. The actress has occasionally returned to her musical roots, performing as Spice Girl Emma Bunton on Stars in Their Eyes in 2004 and coming third in singing competition Soapstar Superstar in 2006.
