Emmerdale fans praise unlikely hero as abused Belle makes 'heart-racing escape'

Emmerdale fans were at the edge of their seats on Wednesday night as the ITV soap aired a heart racing flashback episode between Tom and Belle in which she narrowly escaped

Tom even began making death threats, and in intense scenes, Belle managed to run and escape with Piper the next morning, while her husband was showering. However, it wasn't all over yet, as Tom could be seen coming up fast behind her, after trashing the house in frustration and climbing out the window in attempts to catch Belle. Despite fans saying the episode was like a ‘thriller movie’ they could breathe a sigh of relief as Tom failed to catch up to the bus.
