Emmerdale fans are predicting that Aaron Dingle and Robert Sugden could be set to reunite after the latest storyline drama saw Cain Dingle fighting for his life in hospital
And after one particular scene, some fans think a twist in the plot could lead to the troubled character's reunion with Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley), his ex-husband. Following Aaron and Cain's showdown at the garage during Thursday night's episode, the latter was suffering from the lasting effects of a head injury as a result of the fight. Aaron showed he hasn't totally turned to the dark side yet and called for an ambulance, but as Cain remained unconscious, Moira delivered an ominous warning to her nephew-in-law at the hospital.
