Emmerdale fans were left furious as they demanded the return of two characters, after Jacob Gallagher confirmed they would both be absent from Leyla Harding's funeral
After the recent death of Leyla Harding, who had been on the show for 16 years, fans were hoping for a fitting farewell when her funeral airs this week. But given Jacob's loss and David's close relationship with Leyla, fans were outraged on Monday night when it was revealed onscreen that he wouldn't be returning for the funeral. Another chimed in: "You would think they would have David back for the funeral, for Jacob's and Eric's sake," while a third commented: "How many times has Alisha broken her leg?
