Cain (Jeff Hordley) has had a tumultuous few months since his son, Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter), departed the village for Shetland in September last year. However, it was soon revealed that Nate didn't relocate to Scotland, but was actually killed by John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) following last year's barn fire. During Thursday's (June 19) hour-long episode, Cain asked Tracy about funeral arrangements for Nate, but she insisted she could only afford a "bog-standard" cremation.
