Emma Törzs’ YA Novel ‘Ink Blood Sister Scribe’ To Be Adapted As Fantasy Series By Bronwyn Garrity & Gato Grande
An adaptation of Emma Törzs' debut fantasy novel 'Ink Blood Sister Scribe' titled 'Ink' has been greenlit by Gato Grande.
From writer and executive producer Bronwyn Garrity ( Accused, Outlander), the fantasy thriller series will follow estranged half-sisters Esther and Joanna, who grew up immersed in magic and raised by a father who dedicated his life to protecting an ancient library of spells. “ Ink was one of the most compelling novels released last year, and is the perfect fit for our first series based on American IP,” said Gonzales Vargas. The company recently announced several TV series including the drama Clipperton, based on the best-selling novel, Isle of Passion by Laura Restrepo, the satirical mystery Miami Spice based on Raquel V. Reye’s hit novel Mango, Mambo and Murder, and the comedy Climax an original concept from producer Sergio Sancho and written by Elena Crevello.
