Emma Stone cuts a chic figure in brown suit as she joins director Yorgos Lanthimos for London screening of Poor Things after Oscars nomination

The actress, 35, who has been tipped to win an Oscar for her portrayal of Bella Baxter in the sci-fi comedy, cut a chic figure in a golden brown suit which she layered atop of a white shirt. Based on the 1992 novel by Alasdair Gray, the film follows Bella, a young woman in Victorian London, who is resurrected by a scientist (Willem) following her suicide and embarks on an odyssey of self-discovery and sexual liberation. To secure her second Oscar, Emma will have to beat out Annette Bening for Nyad, Lily Gladstone for Killers of the Flower Moon, Sandra Huller for Anatomy of a Fall, and Carey Mulligan for Maestro.
