Emma Stone and 'Poor Things' Cast and Crew Reflect on the Film's Costumes (Exclusive)

The surreal world of Yorgos Lanthimos' Poor Things was created by every member of the talented cast and crew -- but the costumes played an especially important part. For Lanthimos, Bella's naivete allowed her to be something of a blank canvas for him and the rest of the Poor Things crew -- as well as the film's viewers -- to paint their ideas on. Jerrod Carmichael plays Harry Astley, a gentleman who introduces Bella to philosophy and aids in her evolution -- and he was also suitably impressed with the costumes he got to wear in the Oscar-nominated film.
