Emma Corrin is eyed up for leading role in 'progressive' Netflix adaptation of Pride And Prejudice

The Crown star is set to play Elizabeth Bennet in the streaming giant's version of Jane Austen's 1813 novel which is already in early development.

Dolly is a big fan of Emma's work and believes that having a non-binary star in the main role will modernise the tale and move it on from Keira's iconic performance Between takes, the two actors were spotted giggling with each other as they acted opposite a mysterious figure who wore matching red robes with a large circular hat and was flanked by two guards dressed all in black. The film, based on Isabel Greenberg’s graphic novel of the same name sees Nicolas play a lecherous villain who arrives at his friends home and enters into a bet that he can seduce his wife Cherry within 100 days.
