Eminem’s Mother Debbie Nelson Dead at 69
Eminem's mom, Debbie Nelson, has died at 69, Billboard has confirmed.
According to the outlet, Nelson passed due to complications related to advanced lung cancer in St. Joseph, Mo. Em had publicly extended an olive branch to his mother while regretting how he handled their relationship over the years on tracks such as 2013’s “Headlights.” “Marshall, I want to say, I could not let this day go by without congratulating you on your induction into the Hall of Fame,” she said in a congratulatory video message at the time.
