Eminem, with eight VMA nominations this year, will open the show on Wednesday from New York’s UBS Arena, MTV announced today. The performance this Wednesday will be Eminem’s first TV appearance since from the recent release of his 12th studio LP The Death of Slim Shady. The 2024 VMAs will air live on Wednesday, September 11 at 8PM ET/PT across MTV’s global footprint, including BET, BET Her, CMT, Comedy Central, Logo, MTV, MTV2, Nick at Nite, Paramount Network, Pop, TV Land, VH1, and Univision.
