Emily Mortimer & Alessandro Nivola's King Bee has struck a Sony deal for scripted TV series.
Emily Mortimer & Alessandro NivolaPeter Ash Lee / Emily Mortimer The husband-and-wife duo’s production outfit will develop and produce scripted TV shows in various formats globally for Sony’s International Production group and U.S. studio. King Bee produced two seasons of HBO-Sky series Doll & Em and the Tribeca Film Festival Audience Award Winner and Film Independent Spirit Award nominated feature To Dust starring Matthew Broderick and Geza Rohrig. Katherine Pope, President of, U.S. Productions, Sony Pictures Television Studios, and Wayne Garvie, President, International Production, Sony Pictures Television, celebrated the pair’s “creative and visionary storytelling approach, and their ability to develop a broad range of stories.”
