Emily Blunt reveals daughters' reaction to her 'mean' character in The Devil Wears Prada
Emily Blunt admitted that her daughters thought her character in The Devil Wears Prada was 'the meanest.' She told Page Six her daughters Hazel, 10, and Violet, 7, found her role unlike her.
The British actress, 41 — who was recently spotted enjoying a rare family outing at the US Open — told Page Six that her daughters Hazel, 10, and Violet, 7, found her role as Emily Charlton in the 2006 hit comedy-musical unlike her. The Golden Globe winner, who shares her children with The Office actor John Krasinski, also told the outlet she is grateful the film has a lasting impact nearly two decades since its release. The Devil Wears Prada follows the story of Andy (Anne Hathaway), a Northwestern grad who somehow lands a job as a junior personal assistant to Miranda Priestley (Meryl Streep), the editor-in-chief of Runway Magazine.
