Embassy of Japan Says Taylor Swift Can Make it to Super Bowl After Tokyo Concert

The pop superstar will perform at the Tokyo Dome as part of her blockbuster Eras Tour before the big game.

On Friday (Feb. 2), the Japanese Embassy in Washington, D.C., issued a statement on X(formerly Twitter) that Swift will indeed be able to make Super Bowl LVIII to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce as his Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium on Feb. 11. “The Embassy of Japan in the United States is aware of recent media reports concerning the steps Taylor Swift will need to take to travel from Tokyo after her concert on February 10th to Las Vegas in time to watch the Kansas City Chiefs play in Super Bowl LVIII,” the statement begins. “Despite the 12-hour flight and 17-hour time difference, the Embassy can confidently Speak Now to say that if she departs Tokyo in the evening after her concert, she should comfortably arrive in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl begins,” the message continues, referencing Swift’s album title.
