The Library of Congress lists 25 new entrants each year

Also on the list: Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black,” Tracy Chapman’s 1988 debut album, Celine Dion’s 1997 single “My Heart Will Go On” from Titanic, and Roy Rogers and Dale Evans’ classic “Happy Trails.” The recordings were selected as “audio treasures worthy of preservation for all time,” based on their “cultural, historical or aesthetic importance in the nation’s recorded sound heritage,” according to the Library of Congress. “Happy Trails,” Roy Rogers and Dale Evans (1952) (single)
