Elton John Has Lost His Sight Following ‘Severe’ Eye Infection
Elton John revealed at the West End premiere of 'Devil Wears Prada' that he has lost his eyesight following a severe eye infection.
At the premiere of The Devil Wears Prada musical in London, John revealed that he has only been able to listen to the production after losing his ability to see John made his way on and off the stage with the assistance of his husband, David Furnish, who has provided support since the musician’s vision was first impacted over the summer. At the New York premiere of his documentary film Elton John: Never Too Late, he half-joked that “there’s not much of me left,” noting: “I don’t have tonsils, adenoids or an appendix.
