Elton John Confirms Fans Can Expect ‘More’ Music on ‘Colbert’

Elton John appeared on 'The Late Show' to discuss his documentary and to tease new music.

Colbert later brought out Brandi Carlile to join John so the pair could talk about their collaborative song, “Never Too Late,” which was written for the film. Carlile initially wrote the song after seeing an early cut of the documentary, and took influence from Bernie Taupin’s signature style. She and John co-wrote the final track, with Andrew Watt adding additional writing and production.
