Elton John admits he 'can't see anything' and is unsure he can ever work again
Sir Elton John has revealed he has been left unable to see, read or watch anything after losing his eyesight in his right eye following an infection in the summer
At 77 years old, the iconic musician shared that he lost his sight in his right eye last summer while in France and consequently can't see, read, or watch anything. He discussed the details of his struggle in his new documentary Never Too Late and shared with ABC News on Monday that his future in music remains uncertain as he prioritises his well-being. Revealing his battles with multiple health setbacks, Sir Elton has soldiered through knee replacements, hip surgery following a fall, which caused him to postpone his 2021 farewell tour.
