Elon Musk’s X To Limit Live Streaming Abilities To Premium Subscribers


X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter and owned by Elon Musk, will soon only allow premium subscribers to create live streams.

X, the social media platform formerly known as and owned by Elon Musk, will soon only allow premium subscribers to create live streams. Premium+ users pay $16/month or $168/year and get all the previous features from the two other tiers plus no ads in the For You or Following tabs, and a larger reply boost, plus the ability to write articles. Earlier this year, Musk teased an idea to charge a “small fee” to allow new users to post on X immediately after creating an account, in an effort to avoid spam and bots.
