Elon Musk’s X Activates Setting Allowing It to Train Grok AI on User Posts and Interactions by Default
Elon Musk's X (formerly known as Twitter) activated on a setting that lets it train the Grok AI assistant with X users' posts and interactions.
“To continuously improve your experience, we may utilize your X posts as well as your user interactions, inputs and results with Grok for training and fine-tuning purposes,” says a notice on X’s settings web page. Users can uncheck the box to opt out of the feature; in addition, there’s an option to delete your Grok conversation history. X users have the ability to control when they want their posts as well as their interactions, inputs and results with Grok to be used for training and fine-tuning purposes, as described below.
