Elon Musk's Estranged Daughter Recalls How the CEO's Reaction to Her Coming Out as Trans Differed from Mom Justine Wilson


Vivian Wilson, the daughter of Elon Musk and Justine Wilson, recalled the differing reactions she got from her parents when she came out as transgender in 2020 in a new interview.

Vivian, 20, told Teen Vogue in an interview published on March 20 that her mom was more supportive than the Tesla CEO, 53, when she confirmed her gender identity to them in 2020. And when asked by Teen Vogue what her own answer to the prompt she shared years ago would be, Vivian said, "I am Team Peeta, obviously. Looking back, Vivian said she would redo her coming out, however, to allow her mom to play a more prominent role.
