Singer Ellie Goulding has opened up about being "sad as hell" after announcing the heart-breaking news that she and husband Caspar Jopling had split "some time ago"
In an emotional statement, the Starry Eyed songstress explained that she and 32 year old Caspar had split “some time ago” but that they remained friends and were co-parenting their son. Art dealer Caspar also shared an announcement on social media and echoed Ellie’s statement and asked for privacy as they co-parent their son. “I feel (sadly) that I need to say something on mine and Ellie's current relationship... that I hope more than anything will make any final tabloid speculation disappear,” he said.
