In the update, the musician wrote: 'In light of recent stories, I feel I have been left with no choice but to let you all know that Caspar and I privately separated some time ago. Ellie has been living it up in Costa Rica as she enjoys a winter getaway with her friends and hasn't shied away from embracing a holiday romance with Armando Perez (pictured) Annoucing their split, Ellie wrote: 'In light of recent stories, I feel I have been left with no choice but to let you all know that Caspar and I privately separated some time ago'
