Elle Macpherson is eager to offload her $22 million Florida mansion after slashing price for a SECOND time in two years - as friends reveal why she's hurrying to sell the Coral Gables home
The Australian supermodel, 60, is eager to shift the six-bedroom, Normandy-inspired home she bought in 2018 as she feels now is the right time as her two sons have flown the nest.
The outdoor space has a large saltwater swimming pool and a relaxing lounge area surrounded by sprawling, manicured gardens with oak, lemon, orange and mango trees. Macpherson hired New York City–based AD100 architecture, interiors, and landscape firm Sawyer | Berson on buying the property, which had previously been renovated in 2017 by Miami-based architect Chad Oppenheim. Known as the 'girl next door' figure on starting out in the 1980s, Macpherson went on to become part of the new generation of supermodels alongside Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista and Cindy Crawford among others, landing Vogue covers and walking for the likes of Louis Vuitton and Ralph Lauren.
