King, 34, on January 19, was panned after appearing inebriated while onstage at The Grand Ole Opry as part of a show honoring Dolly Parton 's 78th birthday.

Elle King, 34, addressed her infamous outing at The Grand Ole Opry in a social media post Sunday, telling her 459,000 Instagram followers that she has been on the end of mean-spirited trolling in the wake of the show. The singer and daughter of Rob Schneider performed at Nashville's Grand Ole Opry in Ryman Auditorium as part of a show honoring Dolly Parton on her 78th birthday, though the country legend herself wasn't in attendance The Opry Goes Dolly show also featured Ashley Monroe, Tigirlily Gold, Dailey & Vincent and Terri Clark, with fans blasting King on social media.
