Elle King pushed her Friday, January, 26, show in Texas to September just days after performing drunk at the Grand Ole Opry

Many fans speculated in the comments section that King’s postponement is a result of her controversial omission of being “f–king hammered” while performing at the Grand Ole Opry earlier this month as part of a Dolly Parton tribute event. Natalie Maines, Martie Maguire and Emily Strayer found themselves in hot water in the early 2000s after sharing their personal politics on a public stage.
