It would have been her first show since her controversial performance at a Dolly Parton tribute at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville on Jan. 19. During that set, King told the audience that she was “hammered” and appeared to be slurring her words on stage. The Billy Bob’s Texas venue announced via social media Wednesday that the show has been postponed eight months, to Sept. 21.
