Those that supported Warren reacted vehemently to these critiques because they believed the others ignored systemic underfunding at the federal level and the detrimental impact of policies like No Child Left Behind. The debate really went insane as some of the opposing voices began to resort to downright personal attacks-another attack questioned Warren’s very standing to even vote in the Senate.
