Elizabeth Olsen angers Marvel fans with major career announcement

Elizabeth Olsen has left Marvel fans absolutely devastated after revealing she won't be reprising her role as the Scarlet Witch in the next two Avengers films.

Her claim sparked fury on social media as X users expressed sadness over the idea of her absence while others speculated she may be lying to prevent any spoilers. Elizabeth said she has a lot of fun making the Marvel movies and confirmed she didn't want Wanda to be dead but noted that the writers would have to think of a particularly clever way to bring her back. Despite being previously tied to the Marvel universe, Elizabeth's repertoire has expanded since her character was killed off and back in May she starred in the A24 romantic comedy Eternity with Miles Teller and Callum Turner, from director David Freyne as well as Netflix hit His Three Daughters alongside Natasha Lyonne.
