The actress and model's career could have taken a very different turn if not for one surprising rejection.
Talking to The Mirror the documentary’s author, Mike Jones, explained why Liz had not landed the part on the British sitcom, saying: 'She auditioned for the role and it was felt that perhaps she was probably a little too glamorous for…how can I say it diplomatically? The pair starred in the film Kill Cruise in the 80s which saw a drunken sailor agree to ferry the two British women from Gibraltar to the West Indies but the journey did not turn out to be smooth sailing
