Eddie Redmayne’s ‘The Day of the Jackal’ Renewed for Season 2 at Peacock and Sky
'The Day of the Jackal,' Peacock and Sky's thriller series starring Eddie Redmayne, has been renewed for a second season.
“But following his latest kill, he meets his match in a tenacious British intelligence officer (Lashana Lynch), who starts to track down the Jackal in a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe, leaving destruction in its wake.” In Variety ‘s review, critic Aramide Tinubu called it a “truly engaging drama,” adding: “Meticulously presented and beautifully detailed, the series is a breathless adventure until the very end.” Rounding out the cast are Úrsula Corberó, Charles Dance, Richard Dormer, Chukwudi Iwuji, Lia Williams, Khalid Abdalla, Eleanor Matsuura, Jonjo O’Neill, Nick Blood, Sule Rimi and Florisa Kamara.
