Eddie Redmayne On Future Of ‘Fantastic Beasts’; Teases “Glimpse” Of Newt Scamander At Universal Epic Universe Theme Park

Eddie Redmayne says the audience has most likely seen the last of Newt Scamander, the character he played in the Fantastic Beasts film series.

The actor said in a new interview that the series is possibly over, but fans will maybe get a “glimpse” of what Newt has been up to following the trilogy of films. Fantastic Beasts is a film series directed by David Yates and based on the characters created by JK Rowling from the Harry Potter universe. The film series began with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them in 2016, revolving around Redmayne’s Newt Scamander, a British wizard with a magically expanded briefcase that houses several dangerous creatures and their habitats.
