Eddie Murphy apparently had his work cut out for him with his new onscreen daughter.
The actor’s Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F co-star Taylour Paige revealed her favorite part about working with Murphy on the long-overdue followup to his action comedy trilogy that all began in 1984. Murphy reprises his role as Detroit-born cop Axel Foley in the upcoming Netflix sequel after starring in the first three films, which premiered in 1984, 1987 and 1994. The newest installment sees Murphy’s eponymous character team up with his new partner Detective Bobby Abbott ( Joseph Gordon-Levitt) after his estranged daughter, criminal defense attorney Jane Saunders’ (Paige) life is threatened.
